PM Modi is set for a high-profile diplomatic tour to France and the United States next week, focusing on strengthening strategic, economic, and technological ties.
From February 10 to 12, PM Modi will visit France at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron. A key highlight of the visit will be the AI Action Summit in Paris, where global leaders will discuss artificial intelligence governance. As a co-chair of the summit, India will play a crucial role in shaping global AI policies, emphasizing ethical development, accessibility, and innovation.
Beyond the summit, discussions between Indian and French leaders will cover defence, trade, and energy cooperation, reinforcing bilateral ties. Additionally, PM Modi will inaugurate India’s new Consulate General in Marseille, enhancing consular services for the Indian diaspora in southern France.

PM Modi’s participation in the AI Action Summit aligns with his vision of “Double AI,” integrating Artificial Intelligence with Aspirational India. His talks with President Macron are also expected to advance defence, trade, and energy collaborations, further strengthening India-France relations.

With AI, trade, and strategic partnerships high on the agenda, PM Modi’s consecutive visits to France and the US underscore India’s expanding influence in global diplomacy and emerging technologies.
