SRK, Salman’s ‘Karan Arjun’ Set for Worldwide Re-release
Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s iconic blockbuster Karan Arjun is set for a worldwide re-release in cinemas on November 22. This film, which first brought together two of Bollywood’s biggest superstars in leading roles, remains a fan favorite for its unforgettable storyline and music.
Director-producer Rakesh Roshan announced the re-release with a nostalgic teaser, taking viewers back to the film’s reincarnation-revenge plot. Salman also shared the teaser on Instagram, writing, “Raakhi ji ne sahi kaha tha film mein ki mere Karan Arjun aayenge … November 22 ko duniya bhar ke cinema gharon mein.”
The film stars Rakhee, Kajol, Mamta Kulkarni, and Amrish Puri, telling the story of two brothers reincarnated to avenge their mother. Known for its chartbuster soundtrack by Rajesh Roshan, it includes classics like “Yeh Bandhan Toh,” “Bhangda Paale,” and “Rana Ji Maaf Karna.”

Originally released in 1995, Karan Arjun was a massive box-office success with a 50-week golden run in 76 theaters. Over the years, it’s become a cultural phenomenon, celebrated for memorable lines like “Mere Karan Arjun Aayenge” and its powerful theme of brotherhood. Produced by Rakesh Roshan’s FilmKraft Productions, Karan Arjun continues to be cherished in Bollywood history.
