Today is Amrish Puri’s 91st birthday anniversary. Though the late actor died on January 12, 2005, at the age of 72, he is still remembered by his fans. They posted their wishes on social media in fond memory.

“”परख न सकोगे ऐसी शख़्सियत है मेरी, में उन्ही के लिए हूँ जो जाने क़दर मेरी।” Happy Birthday To Legend Late Amrish Puri Ji ” a user tweeted.

Another fan wrote: “Happy Birthday Mogambo – Amrish Puri.”

Apart from wishes, fans flooded social media with images and iconic scenes from his movies.

Amrish Puri is best remembered for his villainous roles, especially Mogambo in Mr. India. “Mogambo khush hua” is one of the most memorable dialogues spoken by an Indian villain. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Karan Arjun, Nayak, and Koyla are some of his remarkable movies.

He was not only seen in Hindi films but also in Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil.
