India vs New Zealand in Women’s T20 World Cup Opener Today

Women’s T20 WC: Bangladesh beat Scotland by 16 runs
In the opening match of the ninth edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, Bangladesh defeated debutant Scotland by 16 runs at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE. Chasing a target of 120 runs, Scotland managed to score 103 for seven in their 20 overs. Sarah Bryce top-scored for Scotland, remaining unbeaten on 49.
Earlier, Bangladesh set a total of 119 for seven in their 20 overs, with Sobhana Mostary scoring 36 and Shathi Rani adding 29 runs to the tally.
Ritu Moni was named Player of the Match for her impressive bowling performance, while Nahida Akter celebrated a milestone by claiming her 100th T20I wicket.
This victory marked Bangladesh’s first win in any Women’s T20 World Cup match in the past decade.
