Google’s new app “WifiNanScan App” can now connect nearby smartphones and users without Bluetooth. As per the search giant, this Wi-Fi Aware supports “higher throughput rates across longer distances than Bluetooth connections.” This mobile application can measures distance between two smartphones using the Wi-Fi Aware protocol.
