IND vs AFG T20: India defeated Afghanistan by 6 wickets in the first T20 of the three-match series in Mohali last night.
Chasing a target if 159 runs, the Hosts achieved the score for the loss of four wickets in 17.3 overs. Shivam Dube was the highest scorer with unbeaten 60 runs followed by Jitesh Sharma with 31 runs.
Earlier, put into bat, Afghanistan posted 158 runs for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Mohammad Nabi made the highest 42 runs. For India, Mukesh Kumar and Axar Patel took 2 wickets each.
With this victory, Men in Blue has taken a 1-Nil lead in the three-match series. The second match of the series will be played in Indore on Sunday.
