Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan made small work of their Asia Cup 2023 opener against Nepal as they won the match by 238 runs.
Chasing a huge total of 343 in 50 overs, Nepal was never in contention against the pace trio of Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf and got bundled out for a paltry 104 runs in 23.4 overs.
Babar Azar got the Player of the Match award. Pakistan have registered their biggest win at home in the 50-over format.
After scoring 342 for 6 batting first, Shaheen Shah Afridi struck twice in the first over as Nepal were eventually bowled out for 104. Shadab Khan claimed 4/27 from his 6.4 overs while Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf bowled impressive spells.
